Be accountable! For Yourself!

Looking to make your goals this year?
Find an accountability partner!
An accountability partner can be an important tool for achieving goals, as they provide support, encouragement, and a sense of accountability. By having someone to regularly check in with and discuss progress with, individuals are more likely to stay motivated and on track towards achieving their goals. Additionally, accountability partners can provide valuable feedback, advice and help with problem solving. An accountability partner can be a friend, family member, professional, or networking group (Alignable's Boss Babes has a Thursday Accountability event weekly for example). It's a person who will be there to help you stay accountable and motivated in your journey.
Does it work?
There have been several studies that have found a correlation between having an accountability partner and increased productivity. For example, one study published in the Journal of Applied Psychology found that individuals who had accountability partners for their fitness goals were more likely to meet their goals and had higher levels of physical activity. Another study published in the Journal of Social Psychology found that individuals who had accountability partners for their weight loss goals were more likely to lose weight and keep it off. Additionally, A study from the International Journal of Human Resource Management found that having an accountability partner can increase productivity by 95%.
